PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cluster system performance prediction device capable of predicting clustering overhead generated in a cluster system sharing data present on a main storage device of each node via a communication line. SOLUTION: In this performance prediction device for the cluster system sharing the data on the main storage device of the plurality of nodes connected via the communication line between the nodes, a frequency of a block copy per unit time performed between the nodes with a memory block inside the main storage device as a unit is calculated, and the clustering overhead generated in the cluster system is calculated on the basis of information about a CPU load per block copy and the block copy frequency.
