<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately find toner consumption while suppressing an arithmetic processing amount. <P>SOLUTION: Integrated values found by respective subtotal integration sections 55a to 55d are calculated by mutually different division rules. Consequently, even if respective successive pixels to be written are not included in one small area (j) when an image J is divided according to one division rule, the successive pixels to be written are possibly included in the one small area (j) when the image J is divided according to another division rule and integrated values found by the division rules have errors. For the purpose, the maximum value is selected out of the integrated values found by the division rules to find a final pixel density total value while suppressing an influence of errors of the integrated values found by the division rules. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
