PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve durability of a nozzle made of ceramics in a hot chamber die casting machine suitable for casting nonferrous metals including aluminum and the alloy thereof, and to realize the reduction in the cost of a product. SOLUTION: The nozzle 30 for forming a molten metal feed passage 31 for feeding molten metal stored in a molten metal tank to the inside of a die part 20 in a hot chamber die casting machine includes: a nozzle main body 32 made of ceramics having a hollow part to form into the molten metal feed passage 31; and an impact resisting member made of metal. The impact resisting member is composed of an outer casing 33 made of metal covering the range in a fixed length from the tip of the nozzle body 32 made of ceramics. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
