The diesel soot particle filter has a housing (1), a coat, an inlet (1.1), a discharge opening (1.2) and filter elements (3-7) of different porosity. Perforated mounting tubes (2) are provided for the filter elements. In the housing, two parallel gas ways are provided. In a first gas way a filter element of a highest porosity is provided. In the second gas way a second filter element (5) of smaller porosity is provided.
