Disclosed in the present invention are an object-based content providing device and a method thereof. According to embodiments of the present invention, name data of various kinds of objects registered by users is stored in a name database, and when a registration request of name data for a certain object from a certain user is received and only if the name data for the certain object is new name data not stored in the name database, a storage volume having the name data for the certain object as an identifier is allocated. By doing so, only the certain user is allowed to upload various kinds of content related to the certain object into the storage volume allocated for the certain user. |
