A plate type earthquake-proof expansion joint device using a hinge is provided not to damage a structure by making a main body of an expansion joint move in the x, y, z-axis directions at an earthquake, not to cause any hindrance to the traffic at an earthquake and to reuse without installing an expansion joint device additionally when restoring an upper slab. A plate type earthquake-proof expansion joint device using a hinge contains: a main body(210) of an expansion joint hinged on an upper slab(205a), moved in the x, y, z-axis directions according to expansion and contraction caused by a variation of temperature or vibration caused by an earthquake, and composed of a hinge shaft(210s) fixed by a hinge shaft and a plate(210p) unified to the hinge shaft; an expansion/buffer member(220) connected to the end of the plate of the main body of the expansion joint to house the movements of the x, y, z-axis directions caused by expansion and contraction or earthquake occurrence; a hinge shaft support member(230) installed to the end of the upper slab to support the hinge shaft of the main body of the expansion joint; an expansion support member(240) installed on the end of another upper slab(205b) to support the plate of the main body of the expansion joint and the lower part of the expansion/buffer member; an anchor bolt(250) fixing the hinge shaft support member and the expansion support member to slab concrete of upper plates: and a rubber seal(260) installed to the space between both ends of the upper plates of the main body of the expansion joint to remove rainwater and impurities. |
