<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacked fuel cell power generator wherein hydrogen can be easily supplied to fuel cells, a hydrogen-containing gas can be persistently produced at low temperatures, and a hydrogen production cell stack without the need for large electric energy is used. <P>SOLUTION: In the stacked fuel cell power generator comprising at least a fuel cell stack 37 where the fuel cells 30 each composed of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane 31 sandwiched between a hydrogen electrode 32 and an air electrode 34 are stacked with separators 36 interposed therebetween, and the hydrogen production cell stack 19 for producing the hydrogen-containing gas supplied to the fuel cell stack 37, the hydrogen production cell stack 19 produces the hydrogen-containing gas by decomposing a fuel containing an organic substance, and is constructed by stacking hydrogen production cells each comprising a diaphragm 11, a fuel electrode 12 provided on one side of the diaphragm 11, and an oxidation electrode 14 provided on the other side of the diaphragm 11 with separators interposed therebetween. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
