PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture monitor easy to handle which reduces labor for setting picture data to be displayed on a picture displaying means. SOLUTION: The picture monitor comprises a plurality of imaging means C1, ..., a plurality of picture displays D1, ..., a picture data distributing means 3 which determines the distributing destination of pictures, based on distribution rules registered in a distributing rule memory means 4, a communicating means 2 for outputting pictures from each imaging means C1, ... onto the picture displays D1, ... at the distribution destination determined by the picture data distributing means 3, and a plurality of human body detecting means S1, ... installed at the same positions as the plurality of picture displays D1, .... When a supervisor moves, the picture data distributing means 3 distributes picture data output from the imaging means onto the picture display at the original position to the picture displays D1, ... at the moving destination, based on human body detection information from human body detecting means S1, ... at the original position and the moving destination in addition to determined picture data from the imaging means according to the distribution rules.
