PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covered water faucet enabling a cover to be positioned in proximity to water faucet parts by making constant the projected amount of the water faucet parts inside a cover to reduce the projected amount of the cover and preventing aesthetic appearance and use feeling from being impaired. SOLUTION: In this covered water faucet 1 comprising a pipe joint 10 fixed to a mounting face 2 for connecting a water faucet body 8 to a pipe 54 laid to the rear side of the mounting face 2, the pipe joint 10 comprises a joint body 11 connected to the terminal 56 of the pipe 54 and fixed to the mounting face 2 and a cylindrical connection member 30 in which a water sealing plug unit 60 is screwed and rotatably installed in the joint body 11. A stopper 46 restricting the rotation of the connection member 30 is fitted to the connection member 30, a contact part 25 on the stopper 46 is formed on the joint body 11, and the water faucet is covered by a cover 80 including a maintenance cover 86 covering the connection member 30 and the water sealing plug unit 60.
