PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazed structure of a ceramic and a metal in which the residual stress of a joint part after brazing in brazing joint of the ceramic and the metal is remarkably reduced without inhibiting the reactivity of the ceramic surface with a brazing filler metal and the thickness of the joint part is thin and which is excellent in manufacturing stability and gas leakage resistance and strong in repeated thermal shock. SOLUTION: At least one kind of an additional element selected from a group comprising Ni, Si, Fe, Cr, Co, Mn, Ag, Au, Pd, In and Sn is added in a brazed joint layer in the brazed structure of the ceramic and metal.
