PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stabilizing a fructosyl peptide oxidase usable as an enzyme for clinical diagnosis of diabetes in a liquid reagent. SOLUTION: The fructosyl peptide oxidase is stabilized in the liquid reagent by allowing a polyaminocarboxylic acid-based chelate reagent, and at least one kind of a reagent selected from an ammonium salt, an hydroxycarboxylic acid-based chelate reagent, sugar alcohols and amino acids to coexist with a fructosyl peptide oxidase-containing solution.
