<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid machine which efficiently saves energy. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid machine 1 selects respective parts which begin to be supplied with electric power by canceling an energy-saving mode among respective parts which are supplied with no electric power or less electric power according to a return factor once the return factor is generated in the energy-saving mode. For example, when the return factor is for functional operation using only a scanner part 5, e.g. scanner processing or external scanner function processing, at least a printing part 4 is held in the energy-saving mode. Consequently, only constituent parts needed for operation processing by being put back according to the return factor are put back from the energy-saving mode and other constituent parts are still held in the energy-saving mode to reduce the power consumption more effectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
