PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water dropping preventive structure of a stay in a back door damper capable of preventing the water drops running toward a gas stay along a back door window when the back door is opened from intruding into a cabin while the appearance of the glass terminal when the back door is closed is prevented from worsening using a simple construction. SOLUTION: A cover member 4 having a structure as folded in two equipped with semicircular arc parts 41 able to be mounted along the outside surface of the gas stay 32, rib-shaped intermediate hinge parts 42 protruding parallel outward from one-side edges of the two semicircular arc parts 41 where their forefront edges are coupled in such a way as able to be folded freely, and fastening flange parts 43 able to be fastened to each other which are protruded parallel outward from the other side edges of the semicircular arc parts 41, is installed in such an inclined condition that the intermediate hinge parts 42 on the top surface are positioned offset inward to the cabin from the central part while the fastening flange parts 43 on the undersurface are positioned offset toward outside the cabin from the central part.
