PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can solve defects of the so-called Nin 1 function. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus carries out arrangement processing of sequentially arranging an image A in each divide region for a designated number of copies of 5 by repeatedly utilizing input image data of the image A stored in a first buffer region. Four divide regions of the first sheet of paper are filled with the image A. Next page initialization processing (S15) is carried out here. One image A is arranged in the divide region of the left side upper stage of the second sheet of paper. Processing of S11-S15 is carried out for an original of an image B. Three images B are continuously arranged into three divide regions left on the second sheet of paper, respectively.
