PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge and a packing method for the process cartridge for efficient transportation and secure packing.

SOLUTION: This process cartridge 35 formed with a holding part on both longitudinal end sides is packed in a packing member having a medium storage part storing a medium. The packing member is provided with a regulating part for regulating the movement of the process cartridge relative to the packing member.
