<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a packet error rate even when a periodical receiving gap occurs during MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service) data receiving. <P>SOLUTION: A despread part 101 extracts a received symbol of each channel. A pilot channel receiving quality measuring part 102 measures receiving quality using an extracted pilot channel, a receiving gap information acquisition part 103 acquires a length and a period of a receiving gap, and a receiving time difference acquisition part 104 acquires a receiving time difference of receiving data from each cell. A composite object cell selector 105 selects a cell actually to become a composite cell out of receiving data from a plurality of composite candidate cells on the basis of receiving quality, a data receiving time difference, a receiving gap period, etc. A demodulator 106 and a decoder 107 demodulate receiving data from the composite object cell, and decode the data.
