<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing system capable of efficiently managing medical image files by a versatile and inexpensive device structure without restriction of an operation system. <P>SOLUTION: The system is for managing medical image files with image information consisting of a plurality of attributes. The system comprises a recording device 100 for recording information files with file names including image information in the medical information files, a conversion table 280 for correlating the character string constituting the name of each file, named by separating the plurality of attributes of the image information with separating characters and connecting the separated attributes in a predetermined order, to a conversion character string for compression, a compression part 282 for converting/compressing the character string constituting the name of each information file, and a storage part 243 for classifying the information files with the compressed file names into a plurality of directories with names including at least part of the plurality of attributes of the image information respectively and storing the classified information files in the recording device 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
