PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key locking device which is operable by inserting a key into a key insertion hole and rotating the key, wherein the key insertion hole into which the key is inserted has a shutter arranged therein, to thereby achieve the shortening of a main body thereof. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the key locking device, the shutter 2c is arranged in a through hole 2e formed in an upper portion of the side surface of an operating shaft 2 via an elastic member 2a, and the shutter 2c slides in a direction that extends and contracts the elastic member 2a. By this structure, the shutter 2c is prevented from invading a lower space of the main body, and therefore the shortening of the main body is achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
