The clamp has different dimensions of a square spindle (8) having an armature (6) and a dome sleeve (10) connected being free from play. An installation set (9) is provided having an upper linkage end of different sizes of an installation set. The clamp has a cross-shaped plate, whose flanks (2) are curved downwards around a square center section (3) of 90deg. The clamp is flexibly arranged between the interior squares of the dome sleeve in which the square spindle of the armature and the lower linkage end which wedges with installation set. An independent claim is included for a safeguard clamp.
