Provided is a method for manufacturing a steel pipe by coating a body of steel pipe with nonwoven impregnated with SPC mixture capable of complementing strength of the body of steel pipe, wherein thickness of the body of the pipe can be decreased. The method comprises the steps of (i) constantly maintaining a temperature of SPC mixture contained in bath by heating the bath, (ii) heating a body of steel pipe, and then installing the body of the pipe on rotating rod, (iii) dipping a reinforcing cloth drawn from roller in the bath, and (iv) coating the body of the pipe with the reinforcing cloth while rotating the body. The step(iv) comprises rotating and horizontally moving the body of the pipe at the same time. The method further comprises the steps of (a1) introducing a liquid SPC and a material for improving a physical property into mixer, and then stirring the material and SPC to obtain a SPC mixture, and (a2) supplying the SPC mixture to the bath, prior to the step(a). |
