<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for heat-treating a cast iron member, which imparts a required heat treatment quality to the heat-treated part of the cast iron member when heat-treating the cast iron member by high-frequency heating, and a device therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The method for heat-treating a cast iron member by high-frequency heating comprises: a first high-frequency heating step S10 of heating the part to be heat-treated to the austenitizing temperature; a cooling step S20 of cooling the heat-treated part; a measurement step of measuring a parameter value relating to an amount of retained austenite in the heat-treated part; and a second high-frequency heating step S30 of reheating the heat-treated part. The method also includes controlling an output value for high-frequency heating so as to raise the target temperature for heating the heat-treated part in accordance with the parameter value, when the amount of retained austenite in the heat-treated part is large in comparison with the case where the amount is small, in the second high-frequency heating step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
