PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make various services provided through a network easily usable to users while ensuring security without complicating a network environment and without increasing in burdens on users. SOLUTION: LAN segments 1, each of which is connected via a WAN 4, are provided with agent information terminal devices 10. Each of the agent information terminal devices is provided with a request reception means 21 which receives requests from a client and a server in its own LAN segment; a response reception means 34 which receives responses from a client and the server in its own LAN segment; a request-perpetuating means 22 which converts a request to a perpetuated data format; and a response-perpetuating means 35 which converts a response to a perpetuated data format. The agent information terminal devices generate mobile agents 100 carrying the perpetuated requests 202 and responses 302 by means of agent generation means 11, movement instruction means 12 and agent platforms 13 to move the requests 202 and responses 302 to other agent information terminal devices.
