PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static mixer which can stir and mix fluids with the minimum pressure drop when mixing fluids such as gas and gas, gas and liquid, and gas and powder. SOLUTION: A plurality of annular members 5 having the same inner diameter as the inner diameter of fluid pipes 1, 2 are stacked on the way of the fluid pipes 1, 2 functioning as a main fluid pathway to form a mixing part 7 communicating with a pathway in the fluid pipes 1, 2 inside the annular member 5, also the outer side of the annular member 5 is covered with a pipe 3 having a larger inner diameter than the outer diameter of the annular member 5 to form a sub fluid chamber 6 outside the annular member 5, a sub fluid inlet 3a communicating with the sub fluid chamber 6 is arranged at the pipe 3 covering the outside of the annular member 5, and each annular member 5 has a plurality of through holes 5a over its inner peripheral side from its outer peripheral side, so that a sub fluid compressed in the sub fluid chamber 6 is passed through the penetrating hole 5a and allowed to enter the mixing part 7 inside the annular member 5.
