METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COMPENSATING COLOR IN THE DISPLAY DEVICE OF A USER'S TERMINAL THROUGH THE NETWORK

A method and a device for compensating color of a display device installed to a user terminal through the network are provided to quickly and easily diagnose CVD(Color Vision Deficiency) property of a user through the network, and quickly and correctly compensate the color of the display device installed to the user terminal to make the CVD user obtain the same color information. A network connector is connected to the user terminal(102) through the network. A CVD tester(110) performs a CVD test for the user based on the web. A precise diagnoser(112) diagnoses the CVD property of the user according to a CVD test result. A color compensation palette generator(114) generates a color compensation palette for the user terminal according to the diagnosed CVD property and the property of the user terminal. A provider provides the generated color compensation palette of a computer program type to the user terminal through the network.
