STEAM RICE PRODUCING METHOD

Provided is a method for making steamed rice, which allows the use of ripe glutinous rice grains, is carried out in an industrial scale, and produces steamed rice with uniform and high quality. The method for making steamed rice by heating rice grains in water, drying the steamed rice with the sunlight, and polishing the rice comprise: a step(1) of dipping ripe rice grains in purified water at room temperature to cause the water to infiltrate into the rice; a step(2) of heating and steaming the rice in hot water steam by using a boiler in a direct heating manner; a step(3) of dewatering and cooling the steamed rice; a step(4) of drying the steamed rice in a two-step manner by using a hot air system providing artificially formed hot drying air; a step(5) of polishing the dried rice in a low-temperature and low-pressure polishing system; and a step(6) of packaging the steamed rice.
