Provided are digital multimedia data recording/playback device and operation method thereof. The device includes a user interface and a system controller. The user interface selects a source apparatus having a recording medium on which multimedia data to be copied is stored, and a target apparatus for which a copy operation is performed and having a recording medium on which the multimedia data is to be stored, according to a user's selection. The system controller performs a copy operation of the multimedia data on the source apparatus and the target apparatus selected through the user interface. |
