METHOD FOR DETERMINING CONNECTION TOPOLOGY OF HOME NETWORK

A method for determining connection topology in a home network is provided to transmit a topology determining message one by one in an arbitrary order by the plural nodes and determine the connection topology of all node one by one before generating and updating a list of local nodes of all nodes, thereby simply and efficiently determining the connection topology in the home network. In a method for determining connection topology in a home network composed by plural nodes installed around plural hubs and switches, the method comprises the following steps of: transmitting a topology determining message one by one in an arbitrary order by the plural nodes(30); determining the connection topology of all node one by one when receiving the topology determining message; and generating a list of local nodes of all nodes and updating the generated list(70).
