A method for operating a binaural system widening listening sweet spot and a binaural system adopting the same are provided to give stereo sound stably even though a user moves within a plurality of listening sweet spots at random by generating a listening sweet spot corresponding to plural sound images. In a system for providing stereo sound, a plurality of static filters(202,203,204) is connected in parallel. The plurality of static filters generates sound images at different positions by controlling an output position of an audio signal. A control part(201) inputs the audio signal to the plurality of static filters. A relay filter receives the audio signal from the control part, and inputs the audio signal into the static filter.
