An accelerator pedal device is provided to prevent defective operation and a traffic accident by preventing an accelerating cable from being pulled even in operating the accelerator pedal through hydraulic pressure of a brake device and to prevent an engine and the brake device from being broken due to defective operation about a brake pedal and the accelerator pedal. An accelerator pedal device comprises an accelerator pedal(1) rotatively mounted on a vehicle body(2); a first accelerating cable connected with the accelerator pedal on one end; a second accelerating cable connected with a throttle valve on one end; an accelerating cable connecting means relaxing the first and second accelerating cables when the first and second accelerating cables are connected and interlocked to each other; and a pressure supplying means feeding oil pressure of a brake device to the connecting means in operating a brake pedal. The accelerating cable connecting means comprises two pistons connected with other ends of the first and second accelerating cables, and a hydraulic cylinder containing the two pistons, wherein oil is filled between the two pistons.
