DISH WASHER AND CONTROLLING METHOD OF THE SAME

A dish washer and a control method of the same are provided to completely destroy bacteria on dishes and increase the washing effect by applying the detergent to the dishes and supplying the steam into the tub so as to increasing the activity of the detergent. A dish washer comprises: a tub(18) whose one surface is opened to receive dishes; a door(2) for opening and closing the opened surface of the tub; nozzles(14,15,24) placed in the tub to inject the washing water mixed with detergent; a steam generator(20) for generating the steam; and connection pipe lines(22,23) for discharging the steam into the tub by communicating the discharge side of the steam generator and the inside of the tub. The steam generator is operated to supply the steam for a predetermined hour while the water mixed with the detergent is injected to the dishes.
