A remote control device, an apparatus operating system, and a remote control method are provided to perform an operation of converting input of a particular controlled target apparatus, so that the controlled target apparatus of the remote control device can be automatically converted, thus operational convenience is improved. An input select key is prepared as one kind of a key among plural keys, and instructs selection in one particular apparatus. A receiver(12) receives an access apparatus signal transmitted on the basis of the selection from the particular apparatus. A controller generates a remote control signal corresponding to operation of the key, transmits the generated remote control signal, conducts mode conversion on the basis of the access apparatus signal received from the receiver(12), and selects a controlled target apparatus which is to be remotely controlled by the remote control signal. A transmitter(15) transmits the remote control signal. A display(14) displays information on the selected target apparatus. |
