An apparatus for fixing a roof rack for a vehicle is provided to preclude the cross bar from being wrongly coupled and reduce the noise while traveling according to the formation of the extension groove and the extension projection at the fixing projection formed on the cross bar. An apparatus for fixing a roof rack for a vehicle comprises a pair of roof racks(10) installed at the outer surface of a roof panel(20) of the vehicle and longitudinally formed with fixing grooves(11) inside; an extension groove(12) shaped like an arc at the fixing groove of one side of the two roof racks; cross bars(30) formed on both sides with fixing projections(31) fitted in the fixing groove to connect the roof racks; and an extension projection(32) fitted in the extension groove at one side of the fixing projections, extended to the fixing projection, and shaped like an arc.
