PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently push forward the insertion part of an endoscope by use of a lock balloon by preventing without fail the influences of deflected intestinal tract walls arising when the endoscope insertion end is pushed forward relative to the intestinal tract walls. SOLUTION: In the actuator for a body moving in an intestinal tract, when it is assumed that the longitudinal length of the insertion part 10 of an outer circumferential part 441 is L and that the longitudinal length of the insertion part 10 of the fixed part 440 isΔL, and if the longitudinal length L<SB>R</SB>of a lock balloon 44 is L<SB>R</SB>=L-ΔL, the longitudinal length of the outer circumferential part 450 of the first drive balloon 42 or second drive balloon 46 in the circumferential direction satisfies the relations of L<SB>D</SB><L<SB>R</SB>with respect to L<SB>D</SB>.
