PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical instrument-operating device capable of preventing deterioration of a switch means such as a remote switch in the process of autoclave sterilization. SOLUTION: An endoscopic imaging device 14 comprises an optical switch 82 which can switch the function by selectively assigning an arbitrary function, an air-tight unit 46 which can air-tightly store the optical switch 82, a switch operation part 52 provided on the outside of the air-tight unit 46 to be operated by an operator, and magnets 104a and 104b which can conduct the magnetic force from the outside to the inside of the air-tight unit 46 according to the operation of the operation part 52.
