PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device of which driving points are made to agree in a focus direction and a track direction. SOLUTION: In order to solve the above subject, a typical configuration of the optical pickup device 1 has a focus coil 23 and a tracking coil 24, splits the focus coil 23 into a near side coil 23a and a remote side coil 23b to/from a reading medium, and makes a driving point which is a base point of a resultant force of driving forces produced by them and a driving point 26 that is the base point of the driving force produced by the tracking coil 24 coincident.
