<p>In particular a side airbag (3) has to be prevented from an uncontrolled extending into the passenger cabin when activated. A strong strap (4) is sewn (5) with one end to the airbag (3) and joined to a vehicle component (1), in particular at the roof with the opposite end. The strap (4) is assembled of two parallel positioned straps joined during the weaving process by guiding the transversally inserted thread, the weft, through the warp threads of both straps. A short stretch is created by guiding the weft across the individual straps only, forming an opening (6) for a fastening element (7).</p> |
