A method and an apparatus for hulling rice bran layer scratched by a brush are provided to remove the rice bran with the end of brushes in an abrasion path between a cylindrical brush and an outer rotation brush rotating in opposite directions. In the apparatus for hulling rice bran layer scratched by a brush, a cylindrical brush(2) is fixed on a main rotary shaft(1). The main shaft(10) is inserted in both side plates(4,10) to be rotated with a bearing. An outer rotation brush(9) is attached to a belt pulley(3) and is rotated with the rotation shaft(1) as a shaft. The cylindrical brush(2) and the outer rotation brush(9) are made to rotate in opposite directions by use of a belt pulley A(28) attached to the rotary shaft(1). An abrasion path is formed between a cylindrical brush(2) and an outer rotation brush(9). Uncleaned rices are injected into the abrasion path to make the rice bran scratched and removed by the end of the brush(2). |
