A portable terminal for a game is provided to facilitate conversion of a call and the game, to enable a user to easily grip the terminal, provide a wide screen, and provide a mini joystick, a dedicated button for the game, and a speaker, thereby improving hearing feeling and the convenience of a user. In a portable terminal comprises the followings: a folder(12); a main body(6); and a main body hinge(34) which is installed so that the folder(12) can be opened/closed on the main body(6), the portable terminal for a game comprises a hinge on a vertical axis(36) which is installed so that the folder(12) can rotate on the basis of the vertical axis on the main body hinge(34) of the main body(6). The hinge on the vertical axis(36) comprises the followings: a main body connecting plate(44) which is fixed on the first hinge shaft of the main body hinge(34) in a hinge type; a folder connecting plate(46) which is connected/assembled with the main body connecting plate(44) and is mounted in an edge of the folder(12); and the second hinge shaft which is installed on a Y axis so that the main body connecting plate(44) and the folder connecting plate(46) can be assembled with each other to rotate.
