<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to turn off an assist motor while holding actual supercharge pressure to follow target supercharge pressure. <P>SOLUTION: Time B when a process to make electric power supplied to an assist motor zero is executed is estimated based on time delay characteristics of actual exhaust gas energy measured and created beforehand by engine test right before actual supercharge pressure reaches a target supercharge pressure (time A). Consequently, inclination of electric power gradual decreasing wave form during electric power gradual decreasing period is set to an inclination making supply electric power to the assist motor zero at time B. Consequently, electric power supplied to the assist motor gradually reduces at predetermined inclination following time elapse from time A, and gets zero at time B. Consequently, the assist motor can be turned off while holding the actual supercharge pressure to follow the target supercharge pressure without wasteful electric energy consumption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
