SYSTEM TO PROVIDE DUAL REGISTRATION WITH AN IP TELEPHONY NETWORK AND A CIRCUIT-SWITCHED TELEPHONY NETWORK

Disclosed herein are systems and methods to provide simultaneous registration of a client telephony device (10) with a circuit-switched telephony network (20) and with an Internet Protocol (IP) telephony network (20). Such systems and methods may provide emulation of a Global System for Mobile Telecommunication (GSM) Home Location Register (312) to a Mobile Switching (314) and of a GSM Visitor Location Register (316) to a Home Location Register (312). In this regard, an application server (400) of the IP telephony network may be associated with an International Mobile Subscriber Identity of the client telephony device.
