PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform synchronized software update applicable to a mission critical system. SOLUTION: Software stored in an HDD 41 of a server 40 is stored in HDDs 50 and 71 of servers 50 and 70 as preliminary system servers. A software updating section 44 commands the servers 50 and 70 to update the presently operating software to a newly stored software, and software updating sections 54 and 74 update the software in response to the command. A system managing section 45 commands system change of the servers 50 and 70 having undergone the software update to an operation system server, and system managing sections 55 and 75 concurrently perform system change of the servers 50 and 70 to the operation system server in response to the command.
