PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laundry apparatus which can compensate the unbalance during the rotation by adding the mass to a drum. SOLUTION: The laundry apparatus comprises the drum 11 with perforations to hold the laundry, driving means 39 and 40 which are constituted to rotate the drum around a spinning shaft and to dehydrate the laundry and a system to compensate the unbalance during the rotation of the drum, and also comprises a pair of detection means which detect the rotation unbalance of the laundry and output an output signal to indicate the unbalance, a digital processor which is programmed to often calculate the sizes and the positions of the one or two or more masses necessary to be added to the drum for the correction of the detected rotation unbalance, and a correction means to add the one or two or more masses to the drum corresponding to the calculated sizes and the positions of the one or two or more masses.
