PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor 10 with a discharge valve 21 constituted of a reed valve, capable of reducing deformation of an end plate part 37 caused in a process for compressing fluid in compression chambers 41, 42. SOLUTION: A valve guard 16 for limiting amount of deformation of a valve element 18 is provided with a main body part 17 abutted on a rear surface of the valve element 18 and a fixed part 19a extending to an outer side of a recessed part 25. When attaching the valve guard 16 to the end plate part 37, the fixed part 19a is fixed to the outer side of the recessed part 25 of the end plate part 37. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
