<p>Apart from a handle the tool comprises a ratchet head (1) with a space (11) for the accommodation of the mechanism. A toothed ring (2) with an opening (21) for the screw to be loosened or tightened acts in combination with two pawls (3,5) positioned in a v-shape at the outer surface of the ring (2). Each of the pawls (3,5) is connected to a control element (8) with a helical spring (4,6) and can be moved away from the toothed surface when a lever (81) is operated. The ratchet can now be used for moving the screw in either of two directions.</p> |
