PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lightweight pseudo-tobacco easily usable in a sense similar to that of conventional pseudo-tobacco for a desired time in a state taken out of an apparatus for heating the pseudo-tobacco and reusable by simple exchange operation in the apparatus for heating the pseudo-tobacco and the pseudo-tobacco. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for heating the pseudo-tobacco is equipped with a battery 6, a heater 26 electrically connected to the battery 6, a switch electrically interposed between the heater 26 and the battery 6 and opening and closing an electric circuit and a housing 2 provided with the battery 6, heater 26 and switch. The apparatus 1 for heating the pseudo-tobacco has a receiving hole 32 for inserting the pseudo-tobacco from the side of one end having a cavity 52b of the pseudo-tobacco. The heater 26 is arranged in the receiving hole 32 so as to admit into the cavity of the pseudo-tobacco inserted into the receiving hole 32 and heat the pseudo-tobacco. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
