An electric motor for a nail cleaner and a drive circuit thereof are provided to smoothly change the rotational speed without applying shock on the motor, even when the rotational speed of the motor is changed while driving. The electric motor for a nail cleaner is composed of a switch unit(170) operating the motor; a micro-controller(220) receiving and judging voltage drop generated during using a bar(250) and then controlling the compensation of voltage by a DC(Direct Current) voltage controller(230); the DC voltage controller controlling the rotational speed by receiving the voltage compensation from the micro controller; a chuck for fixing or pulling out a bar of the motor; the detachable bar driven by the motor and used to clean nails; a power unit(105) applying AC(Alternating Current) power of 110~230V; and a transformer(110) receiving the AC power from the power unit and applying DC current of +5V to the micro controller and DC current of +42V to the DC voltage controller by converting the received AC power.
