<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor usable for a light emitting device to be used for a long time at a high output, a fluorescent structural body of which the surface has been treated into a state where the phosphors can be evenly dispersed without being agglomerated, specially by mixing the phosphors having an average particle size of 20 nm or smaller into a resin, furthermore, a composite using this fluorescent structural body superior in light emitting efficiency, a light emitting device and a light emitting device assembly. <P>SOLUTION: In this fluorescent structural body or a superfine particle structural body, a compound 5 which has a specified functional group and in which two or more of silicon-oxygen bonds are repeated, coats the surfaces of the phosphors or the surfaces of the semiconductor superfine particles 3 to coordinately bond them. The fluorescent structures or the superfine particle structural bodies like this are dispersed in a resin matrix to obtain the composite. The light emitting device is provided with a light emitting element installed on a subtrate and emitting a stimulating light and the above-mentioned composite which is located in front of this light emitting element and converts the wavelength of the stimulating light to emit an output light having a wavelength different from the wavelength of the stimulating light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
