PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic leather which has excellent abrasion resistance and gives a good hand. SOLUTION: This synthetic leather prepared by laminating a resin layer comprising a silicone-modified non-yellowing polycarbonate-based polyurethane resin to the surface of a fiber substrate through a polyurethane resin adhesive layer is characterized by compounding the fine powder of a low mol.wt. fluororesin to the resin layer in an amount of 0.1 to 10 wt.% based on the solid content of the polyurethane resin. The synthetic leather has excellent abrasion resistance. The low mol.wt. fluororesin is preferably tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and the thickness of the resin layer is preferably 10 to 30μm.
