PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing the high-temperature offset of toner and of properly separating papers. SOLUTION: The fixing device has a heating roller 8 and a pressure roller 10. The pressure roller 10 includes a core shaft 100, extending in the shaft direction and an elastic roll body 101 fitting externally on the core shaft 100 and brought into press-contact with the heating roller 8 so as to form a nip N between the heating roller 8 and the roll body 101. The core shaft 100 has a shape, where large-diameter shaft parts 100b and small-diameter shaft parts 100a are alternately arrayed in the shaft direction and is provided with undulations in the shaft direction.
