PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge wherein durability of a disk tray is enhanced as compared with conventional one and breakage due to a fall and the like can be prevented. SOLUTION: The disk tray 5 has a bottom plate 31 in which an aperture part 35 enabling disk access is formed, a ring-shaped side wall 32 erected at an outer edge part of the bottom plate 31, a circular aperture part connecting part 36 formed continuously from the side wall 32 and reinforcing across the aperture part 35 in the bottom plate 31 and a projecting part 39 protruded on the outer side in a radial direction of the disk tray 5 over the side wall 32 from one end part in a circumferential direction of the aperture part connecting part 36 and constituting a part of a recessed part 37 for engaging with a driving side member when the disk tray 5 is rotated. The projecting part 39 has a hollowed structure or a lightened structure and a gap S is formed between an end part on at least the aperture part connecting part 36 side of the projecting part 39 and an outer peripheral surface of the aperture part connecting part 36.
